Nashville Giving Tree was founded in 2011 with the mission to help struggling single moms in Nashville provide Christmas for their families during the holiday season. We did this by selling Christmas trees and wreaths to our community and donating the proceeds to local ministry partners who were connected with single moms.
This year, however, is a bit different. Due to a bad drought on the east coast (where we usually get our gorgeous fraser fir trees), our tree supplier is unable to get us trees this year. We tried to find a new supplier, but the story is the same for all the other tree farms in the area. So the bad news is this: Nashville Giving Tree is sans the trees for 2019.
BUT. There’s good news, too!
We are still 100% committed to helping single moms in Nashville this Christmas. Just because we can’t sell trees doesn’t mean we are giving up.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 to help single moms and their kids this holiday season. This is a big goal, we know. But we also know that we have an amazing community that is committed to bringing joy to single moms. We won’t be able to meet this goal without you!
Thank you for partnering with us. We couldn't do this without you!
